Elite - there is no elite/pro section competition for 2015   

Individuals (recreational competing for age group prizes)  
All competitors will start together in a controlled start until the peloton passes the Recreation Centre approximately 2km into the ride. 

Stage Teams - two per team  
Team member one - sets the pac 
Team member two - gets the glory bit 

Tandem - Two on one bike

Ages
Age is on race day.
A mixed team will include a member of the opposite gender.
All participants must be at least 13 years of age by race day.

A 45 year old teaming with an 18 year old would compete in the Open Teams Section
A 65 year old teaming with an 45 year old would compete in the Veteran Teams Section

Standard Entry Fees (including GST)
$99 Individuals, $169/stage team (two people), $169 tandem (two people), $99/junior stage team (two people), $49 person 30km entry level short course.

The combo price for entering Ride the Rakaia and Around Brunner Cycle Ride is $159 (one payment) or three fortnightly payments of $53 

Refunds, transfers and team replacements 

There will be no refunds although CJM’S Events Limited may transfer your entry to next year’s event or to one of their other events.

Should the event have to be cancelled due to force majeure, there will be no refund of entry fee.

Stage teams may replace a team member provided the organisers are given sufficient and written notification prior to race day. They need to provide a completed entry form signed by the replacement team member.

Individual entries are not transferable to other people.
